Come on in to learn more about the history of Moultrie County or give us a call. We’d be happy to show you around. It is important to know our history and where we come from. Everyone is welcome, no membership necessary to attend our meetings/programs. You do not have to be a member to attend our general meeting and program.

We are currently having monthly meetings at our new HIstory Center. 3rd Thursday of each month
NEXT MEETING—-Thursday August 18 at 7pm at our new History Center. Carolyn Stephens, Adjunct Faculty at Lake Land College will be presenting “The Old York Trail” She will share research and stories from York on the Wabash River to central Illinois. Many believe that buffalo, Native Americans and early pioneers, including Thomas Lincoln, followed the trail seeking new homes. The public is welcome to attend all our monthly programs.
